A platform for students interested in IT
Calaton Academy is an educational platform for recent graduates, emerging talent, and individuals interested in joining the IT Industry. It offers a variety of courses in specialties like back-end development, front-end development, mobile development, UI/UX design, quality assurance testing, and project management.
Opportunity
The goal of the Calaton Academy platform is to provide students with guidance to structure in obtaining real-life knowledge and practical skills in IT specialties. Courses include industry-specific resources, practical tasks, and coaching time. We place each student on a small team and give them an opportunity to work on real-life projects. Students track their progress with a convenient web dashboard and, at the end of the program, receive feedback from their mentor and the opportunity to intern at Calaton Systems.

We began by creating an admin dashboard to manage student registrations, selection, and onboarding. The admin dashboard also helps manage tasks, projects, library resources, learning processes, and student feedback. We also developed a student dashboard that helps students access all the necessary information and tools to learn quickly, collaborate with coaches, and track their progress

To create an efficient front-end design, we used a modern framework called Nuxt.js. The user interfaces for both dashboards were designed to be just as intuitive as they are informative.

To share Calaton Academy with the world, we created a sophisticated website design with integrated internationalization components to represent the website in multiple languages, including English and Ukrainian.

We created an automated CI/CD pipeline to reduce the time to release time. We then used AWS and various IT services to deploy and run the platform.

To build our education platform, we employed a range of modern and reliable programming languages and frameworks. For back-end development, we utilized industry-standard technologies such as Java, the Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Kafka, among others.
On the front-end side, we utilized TypeScript, Nuxt 3, HTML5, and CSS to create a dynamic and intuitive user interface that is optimized for a range of devices and screen sizes.
